PARENT CHECKLIST
As we are a couple of weeks out, here is a checklist and some notes to help you get ready for camp!
CONSENT FORM:
Make sure to bring your signed and notarized consent form to check-in. It is absolutely required for your participation with our trip. You may find, download and print the form at the Church Center Summer Adventure sign-up or download below:
CHECK-IN & DEPARTURE:
Check-in opens at 11:00A, Monday, June 14th. Departure will be at 12:00P.
Eat/bring an early lunch before departure.
CHECKLIST:
Park-friendly—light, cool, (can probably get wet)—clothing.
Poncho / Rain jacket / A long sleeve or Hoodie (in case hotel is chilly).
Sunscreen!
Hat / Sunglasses.
$ Money for meals and souvenirs (see “FOOD” and “COST” below).
Comfortable shoes.
Socks and undies.
Pajamas.
Bathing suits (ladies—please bring a one-piece or tankini).
Cooling hankercheif or cooling fan (if you desire for being in a hot park).
Cell phones are permitted. Please no laptops or iPads.
Bible.
RETURN:
We plan to arrive back at Gillionville around 4:30P, Thursday, June 17th. We will send out a notification with specific ETA as we get close to Albany.
ARE YOU READY FOR AN ADVENTURE?
We wanted to do something a little special—a little extraordinary—this year. This summer, GBYouth is going on adventure to BOTH Universal and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida!
ITINERARY: MONDAY, JUNE 14 - THURSDAY, JUNE 17
ACCOMMODATIONS.
Adventurers will stay (3) nights (4) days at Universal’s Cabana Bay Resort.
TRANSPORTATION.
To conserve our costs, we are traveling in a caravan of private vehicles plus one rental 12-passenger van.
FOOD.
Our food services will be varied throughout our adventure. Students will have:
MON - (1) Supper meal traveling to Orlando (included).
TUE - (1) Breakfast meal at Cabana Bay (included).
TUE - (1) Lunch meal inside the park (not included).*
TUE - (1) Supper meal inside the park (not included).*
WED - (1) Breakfast meal at Cabana Bay (included).
WED - (1) Lunch meal inside the park (not included).*
WED - (1) Supper meal inside the park (not included).*
THU - (1) Breakfast meal at Cabana Bay (included).
THU - (1) Lunch meal traveling to Albany (included).
COST.
$350 - Is the cost per student for: transportation, meals in travel, accommodations and park tickets. This is the full amount you will pay through your Church Center.
$100* - Is the additional estimated amount per student for: (4) inside the park meals. This is the amount the student should bring with them to cover their food. This does not include money for snacks and/or souvenirs.
$ 50 - Is the deposit amount required per student to secure the adventure.

Campers, guests and leaders, your balance is now due in full. Thank you!
