What do you think of when you read that word?  What thoughts come to mind?  What visuals do you picture?  How would you describe authority to another?

Think carefully here.  Jesus makes the most radical and profound statement ever to be uttered by man.  He states clearly, literally, and emphatically, that He is equal with God.  Additionally, He states that He has all authority and power to judge and to give eternal life.  These statements cannot be overlooked.  They demand a hearing.  Even moreso, they demand a decision.  We must decide, is Jesus who He says He is?  Will He do what He says He will do?
