HELLO!

Hello to our new, LAUNCH Parents! We are so excited to have you coming on board with GBYouth! We are eagerly counting the days until your child joins our ministry this August. We have multiple LAUNCH opportunities to welcome new students to our ministry area, including a Sunday Small Group Preview, Bowling Outing, Common Ground Kickoff, Pool Party and Parentnar.

🚀 What is launch?

We believe that new beginnings are super important.
The beginning to a new school year—the beginning of a new ministry—sets the tone and expectation for the way forward. This is why we LAUNCH together each August.

LAUNCH is an intentional time dedicated to welcoming new students and parents to GBYouth. It is a time for us to share who we are, what we are about and what we have in store for you! We want our families to feel confident and excited as they step into our ministry.

here are 4 things to help parents prepare for LAUNCH:

1️⃣ SAVE THE DATE(S):

Our AUGUST LAUNCH is intentionally packed with a variety of exciting event activities to quickly onramp new students to the youth ministry. You will want to keep the following moments open for your child to participate:

  • SUN AUG 4 - 10:15 AM | GBYouth - Small Group Preview.

  • SUN AUG 11 - 6:00 PM | GBYouth - Fun Park. Register for this event

  • WED AUG 14 - 6:00 PM | GBYouth - Common Ground kickoff.

  • SUN AUG 18 - 6:00 PM | GBYouth - Pool Party.

  • SUN AUG 25 - 6:00 PM | GBYouth - David’s Place & Parentnar (see below).

PARENTNAR: JUST for moms and dads.

We would love to have some time with you, our new parents, for a PARENTNAR (parent-seminar) during David’s Place on SUN AUG 25 AT 6:00P. This is our opportunity to introduce ourselves and get you acquainted with our area of ministry.

*Please add your new 6th grader to this Remind class, even if you have an older student in a different GBYouth class.
