Where God is taking us.
Revelation 7:9-17

God is taking us somewhere.

There IS an end to The Story.  There is a conclusion.  A resolution.

And it is breathtaking.

When we gaze with John into the heavens—into the very throne room of God—we see completion.  The arduous work of redemption is finished.  Our spiritual transformation is complete.  In the same ending, we also see victory.  Satan is defeated!  Sin and death are no more!  Our hunger pains and tears are gone.  Forever!  

God, in His infinite grace, grants us this view of the end of the story.  HIS Story.  The ending frames the meaning of our lives—our moments here in the middle.  The ending gives the proper lens for us to interpret all of our relationships and experiences.  Furthermore, the ending gives us hope.  Our sorrow, strife and suffering are not in vain.  He is carrying us and working all of these things toward a glorious end!
